The server was obviously annoyed when he finally came back to serve dessert and we explained we were just too full and could we have it boxed up. Thanksgiving dinner was delicious - but we were rushed in and out.
The food was always good - even excellent. The next morning our server for breakfast was Amanda - she was wonderful as well. We had two outstanding staff experiences - Molly in the Oceans Lounge where we had dinner the first night because Emily's closed just as we arrived - at 8pm.But Molly was terrific. We overheard several guests express their frustration that they were not able to enjoy the buffet.We were able to get a reseravationat Emily's when there was a cancellation. The Thanksgiving buffet was sold out before we even arrived - would have been helpful if the pre- stay email mentioned that reservations were not just recommended but required. No casino info in rooms regarding spa - restaurants etc. The room was comfortable and clean - but the hotel definitely needs a facelift. Actually the weather was the only thing that lived up to my expectations. I knew weather would be rainy and possibly stormy - no problem. I made this resevation for Thansgiving last June.
